 FAQs

  • At Haappy Daance, we’re a student-driven dance studio dedicated to creating a supportive and welcoming community, especially for beginners. Most of our classes are shaped by student song requests and votes, ensuring that students' preferences guide our curriculum. We tailor our teaching style to match students' pace, with a focus on building students' confidence, putting students' needs at the forefront. At Haappy Daance, students are at the heart of everything we do

  • We understand that dance can be intimidating for beginners. That's why all our classes are designed with a beginner-friendly teaching style. We break down moves by counts first, then practice with very slow music, gradually increasing the speed until we reach full speed. After mastering one combo, we move on to the next, building up the routine together. We don't pressure students to complete the routine at full speed in one class; many of our sessions end with music at 90% speed, which most students find comfortable.

Even in our "Beginner Plus" classes, which feature faster music and more complex routines, we maintain our beginner-friendly approach.

  • Yes, you can definitely opt out of filming. We encourage filming at the end of the class to help record everyone’s dance journey; many students notice significant improvement when comparing their earlier footage to recent videos. Your individual footage belongs to you, and we won't post it on our social media without your permission
